Property management: it’s what Limelight does and why we’re here

The Past...

Hannah established Limelight in 2014 initially as a means of managing our own and several friends and colleagues’ HMO and student-let properties.  Our collective experience was that given their nature and the additional regulations involved, establishing and maintaining HMOs and multi-lets required a different and frequently more intensive management approach than is needed for single-let properties

While traditional high street estate / letting agents will take on HMOs, we found that their systems, knowledge and capabilities were more aligned to managing single-lets, and as such landlords and tenants were not getting the level of support they needed and expected.  Looking for a different challenge and an opportunity to apply her wide-ranging property management knowledge, Hannah formed Limelight to offer this support and provide a service capable of managing these types of property more efficiently and effectively

As the private rental market evolved and HMO and multi-lets’ popularity grew as the vehicle of choice for property investors seeking higher returns and tenants looking for well-managed and secure accommodation, Hannah saw an opportunity to share with fellow landlords and investors Limelight’s expertise, responsiveness and systems, to help them profitably manage these types of property

As Limelight’s reputation in the south of the UK and overseas grew and Hannah became more active in property networks such as pin, we expanded our property sourcing, investment and refurbishment services to offer landlords and investors a full suite of capabilities from simple tenant find and let, to property source and full refurbishment

The Present...

The Future...

Following requests based on recommendations from current landlords, from 2018 we have added the management of single-lets to our portfolio of services so that all landlords and investors can benefit from our knowledge and support.  Additionally we will begin to expand into other geographical locations, as well as broaden our property refurbishment and development offering to encompass larger and more complex multi-property developments

Hannah Fargher - Director

Hannah heads up Limelight Letting and benefits from over 24 years’ experience of residential and commercial property in both the private and public sectors. After working for a number of residential letting and estate agents, property developers and housing associations across a range of operational and senior roles, Hannah enjoyed a position as senior manager within a local authority’s housing service where she managed tenancies across a portfolio of 7500+ properties

Hannah’s extensive knowledge of all things property, and her resources within the larger letting, property and portfolio management network make her the natural choice to offer landlord and tenant expert guidance and support whatever their situation.Hannah also hosts Chester’s Property Investors Network, a monthly meeting where anyone interested in property investing can come and add to their existing property knowledge and skills and develop their network
